Session Description: This product demo featured the newest releases in the RoboHelp line, including a brand new program called RoboDemo that enables you to achieve an animated tutorial of operations in many different programs through automated screen captures.

  • RoboHelp dates to 1992, and began with an outfit named Blue Sky Software.
  • The product line includes Help authoring, writing policies and procedures, producing tutorial software, and generating Web frequently asked questions (FAQs).

    • Single-source output
    • Multiplatform applicability
    • Can handle Web Help, HTML Help, Win Help, and Java Help.
  • RoboHelp Enterprise
     
    • Server-based Help
    • Feedback capability
    • National language search
    • Team authoring
  • Robo Help for Word
  • Robo Info: for policies and procedures (leverages existing information)
  • Robo Assist: generates FAQs for 24-7 online customer service – greatly reduces the cost of tech support.
  • Robo Demo
     
    • Automatically generates animated tutorials (onscreen "movies") of Flash-level quality, but in a matter of a couple of minutes.
    • The tutorial is fully editable once it is generated.
    • Balloon-text with "Click Here," type directions can easily be added.
    • A very impressive tool.
